These Terms & Conditions govern the electrical automation consultancy, system integration, smart panel installations, and configuration services provided by KaniSmart Automation across Tamil Nadu, India.
1. Site Feasibility & Inspections
KaniSmart performs onsite evaluations to determine physical wiring capacity, load thresholds, and local device compatibility. Any recommendations made during a site inspection are based on visible architectural parameters. The property owner or general contractor is responsible for providing accurate wiring layouts prior to installation.
2. Project Commissions & Equipment Delivery
We supply premium hardware components (comprising KNX controllers, Zigbee mesh modules, smart relay panels, smart switches, and local gateway hardware) through licensed distributors. All delivery dates are estimated. Hardware is only commissioned on site once standard civil works and primary AC installations are validated as safe and operational.
3. Manufacturer Warranties & Liability
Physical smart switches, KNX relays, and sensors are covered under standard manufacturer hardware warranties. KaniSmart provides a 1-year physical installation support warranty for all commissioned connections. KaniSmart shall not be held liable for smart home offline periods caused by external local internet shutdowns, regional power grid failures, or third-party electrical modifications.
4. Home Assistant & Custom Dashboards
For hybrid integrations commissioned using local Home Assistant hubs, the homeowner is provided direct administrative credentials. While KaniSmart configures active local backups during final client handovers, subsequent modifications made to the dashboard, configuration YAML, or local plugins by the client are excluded from standard installation warranties.
5. Governing Law
These terms and all smart integration contracts signed with KaniSmart Automation are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu.
